Art is an original co-founder and former Vice President/Treasurer of BBD. Prior to retirement and the expiration of his licenses in 2006, Art had been active in investments and financial planning since 1977 and is a graduate of Susquehanna University (BS Business). Art was formerly a Registered Representative of Raymond James Financial Services and was active in the RJFS/PGA (Professional Golfers Association of America) financial planning relationship. He was a member of the FPA (Financial Planning Association), NACFC (National Association of Christian Financial Consultants) and past board member of RAI (Reading Assist Institute), a non-profit agency helping children read that may have learning disabilities or dyslexia.
He is the founder of Understanding Money for KIDS LLC. In conjunction with that he has authored, copyrighted, and teaches the children's curriculum titled "Understanding Money for KIDS." It contains fifteen lessons that teach responsible behavior regarding money and its purpose. It uses character building activities that integrate math, reading, speaking, and computer skills.
He is active in his church. Their two children are both married and he has four grandchildren. Art enjoys golf, boating and singing.
