Fred's band: Wilmington, DE – Local band Club Phred backing The Blues Brothers Horns helped raise over $200,000 ($50,000 more than the 2022 event and a little more than the 2023 event) for www.StopSoldierSuicide.org on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at VetFest in the Town of Whitehall, Middletown, DE. Club Phred has help raise more than $550,000 over the three years of participating in this worthy cause and the 2024 Whitehall event inspired a similar event in New York City this year that raised over $500,000 for www.StopSoldierSuicide.org.

Our 2024 DWM annual client shredding event was attended by over 50 people and the weather turned out to be perfect after rain was forecasted.
We were able to recycle 4,500 pounds of paper, saving 38 trees, 7 cubic yards of landfill space, 44 barrels of oil, 15,750 gallons of water, almost 5,500 kilowatt hours of electricity and collected 50 pounds of canned goods/food for The Food Bank of Delaware.

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID our 9th annual client document shredding event held in MAY 2022 was attended by over 50 BDF clients and almost as many car enthusiasts. We were able to recycle 2,634 pounds of paper, saving 22 trees, 4 cubic yards of landfill space, 14 barrells of oil, 9,219 gallons of water, almost 6,000 kilowatt hours of electricity and collected 43 pounds of canned goods/food for The Food Bank of Delaware. Our 8th annual client document shredding event held in MAY 2019 was attended by over 50 BDF clients and as many car enthusiasts. Mother Nature finally cooperated! We were able to recycle 2,758 pounds of paper, saving 23 trees, 4 cubic yards of landfill space, 15 barrells of oil, 9,653 gallons of water, over 6,000 kilowatt hours of electricity and collected 50 pounds of canned goods/food for The Food Bank of Delaware. During our 2018 client document shredding event we were able to recycle 2,500 pounds of paper, saving 21 trees, 4 cubic yards of landfill space, 14 barrells of oil, 8,750 gallons of water, over 6,000 kilowatt hours of electricity and collected 118 pounds of canned goods/food for The Food Bank of Delaware. Special thanks to those members of The Brandywine Region Of The Antique Automobile Club Of America who braved the rain with their special cars, the wonderful food provided by “it's simply Delicious” (of which left-overs went to The Ministry of Caring - Emmanuel Dining Room), Cajun-Sno (snow-cones) and the following partial event sponsors: MFS Funds Distributors, Eagle Asset Management, and Sierra Mutual Funds & Ocean Park Management.

4th Annual BDF client document shredding event. We shredded and recycled 2,486 pounds of paper, which saved 14 trees, 2 1/2 cubic yards of landfill space, 2 1/3 barrells of oil, 6,100 gallons of water, and 3,400 kilowatt hours of electricity - enough to power the average American home for 4 months. We were also able to donate 86 pounds of canned goods/food to the Food Bank of Delaware. - MAY 2015

Our second annual client event in early June 2013 to celebrate the end of tax season was attended by dozens of clients and friends. 2,580 pounds of paper was shredded. This recycling effort saved the equivalent of 3 cubic yards of landfill space, 18 trees, 2 barrells of oil, 7,000 gallons of water and 4,100 KWH of electricity. Enough energy to power the average American home for 5 months. In addition, 122 pounds of canned goods was donated to the Food Bank of Delaware! www.fbd.org Thanks to everyone who attended and donated!
